Making History

What a wonderful old photo of Skamokawa! This was a time before highways and the internet. Life was just as busy as it is today, but we stayed closer to home. We shared with neighbors, we helped those in need and we found a way to keep going when challenges arose. It's critical to keep those traditions alive, especially in the immediate future. We rely on the strengths of citizens who have perservered hard times before. The Friends of Skamokawa Foundation relies on donations and events to keep The Interpretive Center at Redmen Hall alive. FOS treasures local history and strives to preserve the memories of the builders of this sacred land. Your contributions during this time are vital in keeping FOS going. Help us keep our history stay alive! One day, this time in history will be a memory to share with future generations.
