The painting is done and we are back to being open Thursday through Sunday, 12-4:00 PM

We are open today Thurs (12-4), Fri (12-4), Sat (12-4), and Sun (12-4). Our welcoming volunteers will be greeting guests and visitors during those hours. Our current exhibit is an historic presentation of the Skamokawa Creamery Farmers Association, 1898 through 1943. Attached is a photo collage of the exhibit by Pam Emery, our weekly calendar, and a few photos of the newly painted building.

From Coast Weekly; SKAMOKAWA, WA — Friends of Skamokawa is proud to present its summer 2019 exhibit titled "Down on the Farm," a historical text and photo display of the Skamokawa Farmers Creamery 1898-1943.

The exhibit features research by noted local author Irene Martin runs from June 1st through August 31st. Visitors will learn of the remarkable success of this early creamery co-op located originally on the banks of the Columbia River in Skamokawa. The creamery produced award-winning butter with a large market including Astoria, Portland and San Francisco. Photos and text reflect the creamery growth and prosperity along with its demise.
